Welcome to Park City Utah
Park City lies east of Salt Lake City in the western state of Utah. Framed by the craggy Wasatch Range, it’s bordered by the Deer Valley Resort and the largest resort now in the U.S. Park City Mountain Resort, both known for their ski slopes. Utah Olympic Park, to the north, hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and is now predominantly a training facility. In town, Main Street is lined with buildings built during a 19th-century silver mining boom. Once home to silver miners, mountain men and chorus girls, the rugged yet fun-loving heritage of this area is evident in every corner of our town. Today, the colorful 19th-century buildings house 21st-century shops, restaurants, bars and art galleries, all centered around Historic Main Street.
Visitors love to ski Park City, but when they visit during the summer they start to understand why so many people just back up their stuff back home and go West! You'll hear the saying many times around town, "I came for skiing but I stayed for the summers."
