The average snowfal at Park City resorts is 380 inches per year and 180 inches in town with an average temperature ranging between 24 degrees Fahrenheit to 33 degrees in winter. Many people come to Park City for the winter, but they say they stay for the summers. The average summer high is 80 degrees Fahrenheit; and with low humidity, summers are comfortable and pleasant. The elevation in Park City varies from approximately 6,800 feet in town to nearly 10,000 feet at the ski areas. However, in the Wastach Mountain Range, altitudes climb to 11,000 feet above sea level at the neighboring resorts of Snowbird and Alta.
