Park City is a district known for its high performing students, skilled and dedicated staff, and up-to-date facilities. We aspire to provide each student an education that is as good as it gets anywhere in the nation.
President John F. Kennedy stated, "Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education." As a district we are committed in establishing a well educated citizenry and in providing the best education possible for our children. Just as earlier Parkites struggled, collaborated, worked hard, and never gave up, we too need to work together questioning, evaluating, and searching for that which is in the best interest of our students. Although a transplant, I now understand the pride my mother had in being a Parkite and very much appreciate the opportunity I have to work with you and serve as your superintendent.

Park City School District students swept the Rocky Mountain Academic Talent Search Awards Ceremony for the third year in a row at the University of Utah on May 19, 2007! Out of a total of 75 Utah students who placed in the top 25% of students tested in 7 western states in above-level testing, 25 were Park City School District students.
Honored at the University of Utah Award Ceremony were the Utah students that scored in the top 25% of students tested in 7 western states. Additional recognition went to the top 10% of students, and also the top student in a specific category--only 20 Utah students received this last award, 8 of which went to Park City students!
